here are a couple of picture taken by a friend of mine. they show a 60 foot long snake petroglyph that was created to align with the sunlight at the summer solstice as it peeked thru a hole on a cliff face. the hole on the cliff was modified to cast an illuminated outline of an arrowhead on the snakes head right at the solstice......

Don
That is pretty neat. Has it been color enhanced, or is that the natural color.

WHERE is it located?  How did they get up there to paint it?  Hang by ropes or build ladders or?

Larry - as far as i know everything is natural in those photos.

i do not have any info on the location , and i also don't know whether ropes or ladders were used when the  image was created.
