just barely.  It levelled off at my max bid.  Some nice colors, and I don't see any obvious fakes . . . the two on the box lid look really nice.  SOmetimes it's fun to take a chance on a box like this and see what you get when you get it in . . . I have build enough of an inventory that I think I can go this summer without selling any personal finds.  Maybe.

Looks to be several decent points in that lot. Will be just like Christmas waiting for the delivery man.

I saw that auction & thought about bidding it. A little out of my bi-weekly budget. I hope you got some good ones.

Congrats Lewis!  I was watching that one but it got a little out of my budget too!  What caught my eye was the point on the right of the box lid...think it's a turkeytail?  When I saw the pic I thought "whoa, wait a minute...what's that?"  LOL.  The other point on the lid is a nice one too and looks like several other quality points in the box.  Look forward to hearing your opinion when you get them in the mail.

Tim

P.S.  Hope you don't have to sell any of your finds this summer.  My wife already told me she'd kill me if I ever even thought about selling any of hers.  LOL

One reason I have started buying a lot more points is that I made up my mind this winter that I am going to do my level best to quit selling any of my personal finds . . . too many of my best points are now in another person's frames!  I buy a few singles here and there, but mainly I watch out for larger sets of points, then sell them singly  -  I have gotten burned by a few fakes here and there, but most of the collections I've bought have been real, and I've managed to flip them for a decent profit.  I never thought I'd get so sucked into the commercial end of the hobby, but frankly, when you have kids, and one of them has chronic and expensive health problems, you do what you have to.  You may very well see that Turkeytail on EBay all by its lonesome after I check it out!

There's some nice looking points in that box.  Can't wait to see'em personally.  Raymond

Hi Indy

Those look to be really nice, especially if the two top points are as large as they appear to be.  Did you get a comfirmation on their length before you bid?
